Tony was the prior CEO and still remains intimately involved in the company strategy, operations, and fundraising. Tony works closely with the extended PrimeVax Scientific Advisory Board to ensure that strategies the business moves forward with are supported by science and align to prior knowledge of the business.

Tony’s background includes investment and entrepreneurship across multiple industry sectors of healthcare, software, music, and data security. Prior to cofounding and running Primevax in 2015, Tony’s background was in pharmaceutical strategy and management consulting, where he helped launch drugs on behalf of the pharmaceutical industry, having worked on drug launches for BMS, Alnylam, and others. Prior to that, Tony was operationally involved in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where he implemented the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, among other initiatives.

Tony graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in economics.
